I am a photographer/artist/writer and overall geek living in Northern Colorado. Photography is a passion that helps me express myself in my art. It allows me to show the world that there is beauty in every soul I photograph. I appreciate the subtle art that the medium of photography conveys. The impact it projects on even the smallest images is amazingly huge. Every image does speak a thousand words. An image to me is a window into another person’s world. Photography shows an uncensored truth. It shows a captured moment that never be erased.
I keep things simple. I like to create enthusiasm and keep the flow rolling throughout the whole process. Driven by the thought that a shoot isn’t just about me but also a collaborative & collective work with my client. This not only gives the best results, but an ongoing partnership with my clients. Every great project/shoot needs strong ideas and clients need an inspiring person who can advise them about posing, lighting, color, and new trends in the creative world.
My obsession to create beautiful & meaningful images drives me forward every single day. My studio is where digital applications meet beautiful photography!
My name is Jamie Shaw and I have lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming for the last 12 years but grow up in beautiful Colorado. I fell in love with photography as a child living in a home with art all around me. I started to really see it as a passion while attending high school and taking a photography class that taught me everything I needed to know in photography including developing and printing my own photos.
I had to put my passion and love of photography on hold as I raised my children. Over the years I did dabble in a little of photography here and there while raising a family. As my children started to grow and become more independent I opened up my artistic side again with my children and taking them with me to the places that called my name to photograph. I have branched out in my photography style over the years to include Abstract, Landscape, Wildlife, Vintage vehicles, Black and White as well as Family photography.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Matthew at work many years ago and we both shared our passion and love of photography with each other which developed into not just a work friendship but a personal friendship. I have worked with Matthew on a few professional photography jobs as well as being in front of the camera for him.
I look forward to working with you to cherish your memories.
